Background Blitz: July 10th - July 24th

Greetings, everyone. So, I've read through all the previous background blitzes (is that a word?) and the suggestion thread. I've noticed that there seems to be very few space suggestions, maybe people just think it's too cliche. But since it's a hot topic in the news (with the Saturn probe) I've decided to make this blitz about SPACE.

I'd like to make this one very open, so people can be as creative as they want. I'd suggest a space ship or station, location is up to you. Deep space, orbiting a planet, inside a giant asteroid, whatever works. What the craft looks like is up to you - what do you think future (or past) civilizations will use (or used) to explore the stars?

Size: 320 by 200 or 320 by 240
Colors: max of 256

Great pictures from everybody! I think it's time to vote. Actually, it was probably time to vote a couple days ago, but I just playing this by ear. Let's pick a winner!

I loved everybody's backgrounds, but I've got to pick one, so:

Scotch gets my vote. I love the shading and lighting. Very mysterious.
