Fortnightly Writing Competition - Riddle Me This - Voting ends June 30th.

Tricky, clever, and insightful riddles can be fun to ponder over, and be a nice element to adventure games even. Continuing with last competitions poetry theme, I'd like to see some poems that contain some original riddles (with/without answers).

Here's an example:

"This thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down."

Rules:
1. Poem can be of any form and length.
2. The poem must contain a riddle.
3. Deadline June 19th.

Hopefully this isn't too difficult, and some of you will step forth and accept the challenge.

I just came up with this:

Let now break loose the hellish fire!

A and since I leave the house without the passport but not without the creditcard ...

and not to forget: I don't have a passport with a chip

So I only could give the creditcard a go

... and I won't confess, that we do have passports with a chip since November 2010 over here (so my next one will be like this, too)

Yes, of course I can !

If I want to visit Arj0n, at the border there are just some signs reminding me entering the Netherlands. There's noone who wants to see my passport.
And if you don't use the highway, the signs are sometimes that easy to miss, you don't even realize it at first

My english isn't good enough to explain it exactly, but it's based on the Schengen agreement

But there is an obligation to provide positive identification (in case of a control by police, customs and such) so you did it well
