Ladies and gentleman, welcome to this weeks sprite jam...mmm, jam...man, am I hungry. Hm, gets me wondering what this weeks topic is.

This weeks topic is

F O O D

That's right. Give me your best edible inventory item - may it be a complete meal, a simple hamburger or a lonely apple. Put it in my hand, put it in a bowl, on a plate or wrap it in something. Meals from every world in the universe are permitted, so I will taste even your favorite alien delicacies.

That cherry was just too tempting, but the only way to aquire it was to use a special green plastic sword. Now it's yours for the keeping, but it has a green plastic sword-shaped hole in it. Oh well. Beggars can't be choosers.

Hear me, people! I have an announcment to make.

Since I will be leaving civilization and internet for weekend and I don't want to create unncecessary suspension, the contest will be closing on Friday 13th around 16:00 GMT, the winners will be announced shortly after this.

If anyone is working on some awesome submission and needs the extra time, feel free to write me - I can still change my mind. But I believe you have enough time so - April the 13th on 16:00 GMT is the official deadline.

Attention, please! We have here three aluminum hats for three best chefs (coated in gold, silver and bronze as usual).

Without further delay we present you the 3rd place which goes to SpacePirateCaine and his perfectly normal strawberry. ER...right. Perfectly normal. Nothing wrong with it.

The 2nd place gained Candall with his cherry-on-sword. Nice idea, a simple yet recognizable drawing - a wonderful inventory item.

And the fabulous 1st place, title of the Iron Chef, the honor to host next competition and my respect is awarded to TheJBurger and his tasty sandwich. It is just perfect.

Sorry for not writing more, I am in kind of a hurry - if this thread remains unlocked untill monday (a wink wink to mods), I shall write more and maybe even make those trophies background transparent.
