Gather your friends, it's finally time for the ATC-deluxe.
Last ATC resulted in - among else - the wonderful game "Two of a kind", after excellent team efforts from many talented people in the community.
Now it's time for the second edition, which will utilise some of the changes that were suggested after the last round.

Shortly about the ATC
ATC is basically a game-creating competition between teams. The competitors are given a certain amount of time, and a set of premises. It will simulate the professional team process, where each member of the team has a specific function, where the work will be under great stress and lack of time, and where cooperation is vital in order to succeed. To enter the ATC is to dedicate a big part of your free time and energy to the making of a game.

The deluxe edition
The major change is that this edition will allow custom teams to enter. This means that you can sign up with finished teams, instead of just individually.
The second big change is that the competition will run for two months instead for one.
Furthermore, this edition will have more initial conditions when it comes to the designing of the game. These conditions will be announced when the actual competition begins.

Before you do anything else, please read through the rules:
http://www.nolore.com/ATC.doc
or for plain text:
http://www.nolore.com/ATCtxt.txt

So, for now, the first deadline you must note is January 20:th, before which you must register in order to pariticipate in the coolest competition of the year.

I'd like a go at this too, only I don't have a team and would prefer to really work with soe folks I havent before, for the good times...

So, I'm available for whatever position needed by anybody throwing a group together, or however this works...

I could do programming. I haven't done much programming in AGS yet, but I work as a programmer, so you'd think I could learn to do that.  ;)

Otherwise I'd be willing to take a shot at storywriting.

Totoro

I would love to take part as story writer  :D
(And I will of course if I am put into a team, so its an official signup)

Bigryan

Sign me up.  I can do anything, that's right anything.  My most favorite positions are story guy, programmer, music and background artist.  In that order.  Sprites I can do, but must admit that they're my least favourite.  feel free to put me on the substitute list too if you can't put me up on a team right away.

AGA

Okay, our team is called The Sub-committee for Awesome. The team consists of:

AGA - scripting
scotch - background art
Pesty - sprite-work
Unilin - story
Ghormak - music

This is our logo:

CodeJunkie

Lomax

Will the people who put themselves on the wild-list be build to teams by coincident as in the first competition or will they all wait to stand as a substitute for those who actually do come together as a team?

Haddas

I'm considering entering... Bah, who am I kidding, I suck. Incase things change I'll consider doing backgrounds

Mr Flibble

Well despite Czar, I'd like to sign up as Story Writer or perhaps dialogue writer although both positons are much of a muchness.
I don't have a team so I'll go on the wild list.

I still want to enter, but I'm gonna take a stab at composing my own team.
Ah! There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling!

Sam.

I am signing p for the wild list as a bg artist and coder. I would prefer to code as this is my strongpoint but i am adequate a bg art.
Bye bye thankyou I love you.

Edwinxie_Logged_Off

I'll go on the wild list for part-time programmer then. ;D I wonder if team members can have a private discussion for the game though so team members can communicate privately. Something like a private forum rather than IM because people sometimes are offline, and people can just enter your private discussion because you have other friends on IM.

Joacim Andersson

OK this sounds as a lot of fun so count me in as a wild card. I can do either scripting or join a team as a story writer. I've written the 3 Melrin games in the past if anyone needs some reference material.

Developer

So we need to make our own team or get put someone where? What teams are made already?

Cluey

Anyone wanna include me, I'm kinda holding the Darksiders for a while, but I can do:

Backgrounds
Title Screens
Item Art
Story
"Joker"

My main style can be found in the Critics Lounge.  (Or if your too lazy
Some good art by me (or at least I think so)

Aramore
My webcomic.

Remember that you can, at any time, form a team out of people already registered in this thread.

Just sign up the team, and I will erase the individual entries. There are plenty of advantages with creating your own teams, such as deciding a certain level of "seriousity", which will determine how much time you will spend on the game, or which styke you will go for.

Another note: I will be away in Egypt for a week, so I won't be able to answer any questions. Keep signing up in the meanwhile!

It's great to see AGA's team here - that will be a challenge for other veterans to team up and show the community what they're made of :)

Vel

Creative minds once again enters the ATC, with two of its original members:

Plot - Alky
Background art - Gamma
Character art - ProgZmax
Programming - Neccy(yeah, take him off the wild list :P )
Music - Vel

That's a good idea.

Anyone from the wild list want to join my team?

I signed up on the wild list for programming.

Secret Fawful

Anyone want me on their team. I can do COMI like bgs. I am good at comedic/wierd storylines. Also good at making jokes for games.
