hey there, I wanted to give this a try, but I ran into some problems opening the game?

I'm not familiar with this 7-zip format so maybe this is what's going on.

I open the exectuable file and I get an error telling me that it is not possible to open it as an archive?  Not really sure what to make of that.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your download probably isn't complete. The 7zip is a self extracting file so after downloading, double click and give the location where to unpack. There's no additional (archiving)software needed for this. So just download again (all 9Mb) and give it a go. If problems keep occurring let me know and I'll post a repack in zip.
