Try to copy this text to a setup.cfg file and save it in the same folder as the game. It's for 640x480 in windowed mode. If you want, you can change windowed=1 to 0 to play full screen or screenres=1 to 0 to play 320x240.

If it doesn't want to, you can remove the line refresh=85.

Alternatively you can start a command prompt from the folder where the game is and type "MYSTERY --setup" to invoke the same result as the winsetup.exe does.

Ill fix the issues with the missing setup exe, and I will also create an installer and fix some of the minor bugs in the game. (LOL i can do this alot quicker now since i now have 10mb broadband haha )

Ok, here is a list of a few issues that could stop you progressing further in the game that I have found after some more testing-

Day 2- When you are heading back to the hut, going through pathways such as the lake and the mountain with bridge and exiting again will take you back to Day 1 (so when you are on day 2, dont attempt such pathways). I will try to fix this issue.

Day 2- Entering the area with the bridge and rocks will get you stuck in a loop in which you can not exit this area.

Some random issues I have found which I will attempt to fix. However, short term I will upload the fixed download which includes the winsetup.exe.

So if you encounter these issues, look here before posting on hints and tips section.

Sorry about the bugs, but this game was made a long time ago, single handingly. If I were to make this game today, I would have had the resources to give it full bug testing etc.
