DazJ

The GameJelly mirror is currently down as my domain host is apparently doing some maintenance which could possibly take up to 12-14 hours. After then it should be running as normal.

Sorry agentbauer about this, it's totally out of my control  :(

FireOrange

I already solved it last week but I forgot to post a comment: Very funny game with a great cliffhanger.  ;) :)

A good game, but some comments:

1-There is nothing at the end to tell you how many points you earned.

2-Part of the fun of the old Space Quest games was that it was so easy to die if you did something stupid, like walking beneath an overhang where monsters lurked, or wandering into the line of sight of a sequel policeman.  Here that isn't the case, and I think the game would have been improved if there were death opportunities.  Three points that come to mind are wandering around on Planet X, Hal's security field, and bothering that intense mechanic on Deck 5.

3-There were two points in the game where the answer to a puzzle was not indicated by a clue.  The bartender who reprograms the crystal, and the starship repair kit underneath the seat that was totally invisible to the eye.  That's not a good design choice.  On a related note, there were too many red herring objects.

4-The spy subplot was too obvious, especially with the note in the Janitor's cart.

5-The ending, where we find out how Roger passed the test to enter Starcon, was hilarious!

So, now I am finally able to answer.
First of all, thanks for the comments

Nr.1 Hmm, right, I forgot to add a "you got xxx points out of xxx" I'll add that in the next version.

Nr.2 I did not like to get killed doing only one wrong step, so I did change that.

Nr.3 There were some hints, if you talk to the bartender he tells you something about the crystals..
And the first aid kit, OK, that is a try and error puzzle, you're right ;)

Nr.4 Yes it is obvious, but isn't that typical for Roger Wilco??

Nr.5 Thank you very much :)

@danooct1

Nostradamus

Great game in terms of puzzles and plot. Sure nice to see these SQ places again. And the dialogues with the narrator were hillarious.
Maybe you can do Leisure Suit Larry 4 next  ;D
My main criticism is about the English, which has gone worst and worst as the game progressed. YOu should have a native English speak proof read all your text next time.

Any chance of a new English version without the typos?

Dualnames

Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

CaptainD

Great game, I'm really enjoying this one (even though I don't really remember the old SpaceQuest games very much, apart from having one where I repeatedly got killed on the first screen!  ::) - might well have been IV...).

With a voice pack it would be truly awesome... hope you manage to get that sorted!

Trihan

Send me the text and I'll proofread it for you.

I'm also interested in providing voiceovers for you.
