Jolly good show. It took a while to get used to the controls (LGM's previous pong clone had much smoother and faster movement, and I'd kinda gotten used to it), but once I did. it was quite good. The paddle seems to move rather slow, which makes playing against the wall too hard... but adds an edge to playing with two people.

What can you say about a pong clone, ultimately? Great graphics and... er, yeah, that's all I can say.

Ehm... ;)

the slow paddle movement is all part of the challenge, plus you gotta remember the game was made over a period of just 8 hours by somebody that was tired.
but i think there's a sequel in the works...

Am I the only one who saw the name of the game Pennis and thought that it would be a candidate for this year's P3N15 award?
I make music.

Game freezes up when I miss the ball?

Nice. I found the music a bit repetitive though -- And you (or LordHart) should seriously consider speeding up the paddles.

Who is that wild old coot at the beginning? Those sound effects are sound extremely slick I must say. The game itself is very much like pong on steroids, the kind of steroids that makes crazy music get into your head until you're screaming for Macey in a cold sweat.

I'd like it even more if the game were 500% faster and each point awarded me a tiny amount of "bullet-time" allowing me to temporarily slow down time enough time infact to make a cup of tea and read a jazz mag, whilst eating a selection of jaffa cakes, eventually ending up back at the computer and being able to hit the ball back. This "bullet-time" Would have to have a selection of cool sound effects to acompany it obviously.Ã,  :=
