In my opinion the right arm moves quicker than the left on the walkcycle.

I wouldn't mind playing these characters as they seem quite comical.

It's not that it mores quicker, it's that it moves MORE - the left arm doesn't swing past the front or back of the torso but the right arm does. I'd suggest changing it so that they move the same distance.

I would also say that the "bob" that occurs when he is walking is slightly off - you appear to have one "bob" per step, whereas you should have two - the body is elevated slightly when each of the legs is fully vertical. Right now it looks like he has a bit of a limp.

I like the character though and think that it could make an interesting style graphically - as long as all the characters and backgrounds (and art in general) were consistent.

They're cute!  :D

Yeah, get rid of the arm on the other side, as you wouldn't see it.

The problem with the animation is that it's not finished! You need more frames! When the front leg moves behind him, the leg flicks back to the front as the animation has restarted it's loop, right?

uh dude ??? , so complicated and long word u got there.. whel actualy they arent long and complicated.just  seem so darn mixed up cause i had to go to S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G i hate that thing those S.H.O.P.S they'r EVIL! >:(

so i removed right arm, as i rode(is it that past-pefect-simple-continius from "read"?) out from your suggestion
and made notin else. so:

The character looks like he's just staring mindlessly (unless that's what you were trying to achieve). Add a few more frames (of the same animation), but have him blink in one or two of the frames (one frame the eye is half shut, the other one, it's fully shut, the next frame it's open).

(is there a function of "importing .gif files" to make making walkcycles easyer?

gosh wich one is it walkcicle or walkcycle?)

I fear he'll blink too much if you do that..... you'd have to make a very long walk animation! (Repeating it over)

("Rode" would be the past tense of riding on a horse, I think. "read" is either past tense or present. Its only pronounced differently. sounds like: 'Reed' the book now! I 'red' the book!)

It's walkcycle. ;)
If you mean importing gif files into AGS to make it easier, there is a way to do that, but I haven't used AGS in so long that I forgot.

Whats more important here is the speed of the walk cycle. I think it should be slowed down a bit. The legs look weird when its fast but that could just be me.

Right click in the sprite manager and see for yourself ;)
