Well it's off to a decent start!
The thing is ... human faces are, for the most part, pretty symetrical. And this one is not. Unless he's supposed to have some deformity it just doesn't look natural.
And unless you're going for the 'black outlined' style, I would advice against using them. But that's just my opinion.

Did you look at some reference pix? Because I get more of a cave-man impression from the image than an Egypitian.

It's the most common mistake when drawing faces: if you look in the mirror, you'll notice that your eyes are pretty much in the middle of the head (vertically speaking).
