yeah i know that.. sorry is should of posted that. I made him in photoshop and instead of using the pencil tool i used the brush tool and when i noticed i was already half way through the animation which was really annoying but I'm thinking of doing him anyways.

Other than the obvious anti-aliasing problem, I need to say that this is quite a good sprite. The animation is fluid and the sprite itself pretty well drawn.

Aside from the fact that the whites of his shoes show up as transparent, I'd like to see a little yellow flare on his shirt and skin when he's lighting up the cigarette, to indicate the flame is a light source. I guess this depends on how dark your room is though.

do you guys know a quick way to fix that problem in each of the frames, or am I going to have to fix each frame with the trusty ol' eraser tool?

i think photoshop colour pick tool(magic wand) can do some really magic things.

The best thing would have been that your drawing would be on separate layer than the background. This way you could just ditch the background and save as png with alpha. But if you haven't done that, then you can fix it by using masks/alpha channel. Maybe like this. (http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshop/l/blrbps_2fwks.htm)
