Characters for the H:P (Harry Potter) games.

That's professor quirrel when Harry first meets him. In the real first book, Harry meets professor quirrel in the leaky cauldron pub and he introduces himself there. But in this version he:

...is standing in Diagon Alley and he asks Harry to run him an errand and buy him a bezour stone (a stone which protects people from poisens) from the potions shop. harry then gets given 10 silver sickles (That's wizard money to people who haven't read the books), Ã,Â he is given money because he can't get access his Gringotts bank account. I don't want to tell you why though. It'll give too much away.

Anyway, thanks for the comments. I'll update his character soon. And those are multiple colours on him, but I suppose I'll need to show that a little more.

Anyway, I'd better go now, I'm going to watch HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE!!!! Ã,Â 8) Ã,Â 8)

Okay, I looked at pictures of the actor, carefully looked at the graphic style of Full Throttle and spent a while on this drawing of Dumbledore. The resolution is slightly lower, but the game will still be made at 640 x 480 (at least for now).

Please comment on it. I am happy with this new art style and It looks soooooooo much better than what my first characters looked like.

Much much better. I think it is very nice.

Only problem I have is that his head seems very wide.
Also possibly try to make the glasses angle up like so "/" slightly to give the illusion of his head being round instead of flat.

IMO his chest is too buffed up. And how 'bout a slightly more shaded dark areas.

You use too much grays & blacks. Don't know whether you're going for the movie look, but nontheless I'd suggest googling some images for reference.

For instance, Dumbledore's typical robe has a purple tone, it's not grey:

Howarts school uniforms (in the movies) have parts in the house colours, and other colour parts. (In the books the uniforms supposedly consist only of a black robe, so IMO they would need to wear some clothes under that (presumably not black)).

You should try avoiding 100% desaturated colors altogether, always use a color tint. It will look much better, trust me.

I didn't see page two so if anything is out of context, i'm to blame. the characters on the first page mostly all have darkcircles around their eyes. GET RID OF THIS. It is so uglylooking.

Here's professor snapes front and back views. I've just started work on his talk animations. I'll post those shortly.

I know it's not perfect, and if somebody wants to make edits on these drawings, that would be great. For now, this is as well as I can draw snape.

Snape is great but there's still room for improvements:

*Changed his lip to look more angry
*Darkened his clothes
*Made the nose a bit more pointy
*Changed the shape of the skull

pionts i have noticed with this dumbeldore chap his head is way too wide and also how thin are the hips on this guy lol
