Can someone help me with what colour the walls/floor should be? I've been told the current colour combination doesn't look so good. The floor is supposed to be wooden planks.

Also, can someone help with how to make foreground objects? Just plain black outlines don't look so good.

BTW, just so you know, it's not complete yet.

Well the colors are mostly fine, the only thing I don't like is that the floor-color could use a less-saturated color.

I tried with a less saturated colour. But then it looked too much like the walls. I tried darkening the less saturated colour. Then it looked too much like the shelves. With the colours blending with each other, it doesn't look so good, and the room really seems bare.

I think the floor color is okay, but needs some variation/texturing... it could easily be a really glossy hardwood floor if there were some reflections on it from the bookcase and walls.

Is the counter supposed to be a glass display case?  If it is, brown is probably not the color you're looking for...  ;)

Hey barbar just wondering what the background size should be?

Edit:// You forget to color the cash register you also draw without VP? (Vanishing points)
This is really messing with your perspective! I wouldnt be worrying about color until the scene is
in perspective...

Just did a quick demonstration with the perspective.  You may want to raise the vanishing point up a bit.  Blue roughly shows what you were doing, red shows a correct way.  I was sloppy, sorry.

Also, I think you should move the desk "toward" us a bit more.  It looks like it is pressed right up in that far corner.  A desk like that would probably have a lot more space between itself and a large window.  If nothing else, I would suggest moving the right edge of the desk away from the corner of that wall, so it doesn't look paperthin.

The colors don't offend, IMO ;)
The floor isn't particularly woodlike, however.  It's too yellow.
