Normally I resort to models to make characters, but in this case, I decided to give the old fashioned way a go for the main character of my latest endeavour. Thus, I give you...

Unnamed lady in a space-suit!
The idea is that she's recently recovered from injuries (hence the black-eye, and the "burns" on the front of the suit), but I'm also going for futuristic, so the suit is sleeker and less bulky than modern space suits.
The one thing I know I could do better is the head, but they always stump me - it gets messier and messier the more I try to change anything. I'm not trying to make her look too feminine, and trying to make the hairstyle more practical for someone who'd wear a helmet on a regular basis, but I'm having trouble with that. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Changes made so far based on advice:
- made sure height levels match
- changed the neck
- did more to the bun of hair

She seems to be leaning forward a bit too much. She'd fall over like that (unless her boots are built in with some pretty heavy weights ;D). Your views don't seem to be matching up either (the hands, the leg-screen, the thickness of her shoulder pads). When she's got her helmet off, I think you should have her bun-thing complete. It looks a little strange right now. Also, in her side-view, you've given her a what looks to be a double-chin or an adam's apple, or something. I'd suggest removing that extra darker pixel, and rounding out the chin itself.
I think it looks pretty good. Her feet look pretty big, though -- most women have very small feet from what I can tell. I think if you shaved three pixels off of the foot length on the horizontal views it'd look fine. It's also a little odd that the ankle goes straight down to the ball of the foot -- usually the ball goes out a tiny bit -- but I don't know how that'd look (that is, if adding one pixel line would be too much or not). But anyway, I think it looks pretty good!
Good detail, good posture overall. I think the super saturated blues are a bit unnatural looking. There's lots of nice detail in the torso, but the blue is close enough to your outline color that it obscures them a bit. Perhaps a lighter, greyer blue would work better.
Another small point is that her arms may be a bit short- if you ask any self-assured art major they will insist the fingers should hang down exactly to mid thigh when the arms are relaxed. If said art major were in a bad mood he or she might also berate you for making the shoulders wider than the hips. ;)
It looks great, mate.
