It's my first MIDI ever so, it's not so good!
Say something! Look at my signature!
Hmm... first thing, lighten up on the drums! Especially the random cymbals. And the bass guitar made my head explode.
Next, the notes sound very randomly selected. Do you play a musical instrument? If not then you'll have to read up on a whole lot of music theory to find out how to remove the randomness.
Of course, there's a lot more I could say, but before you change these first two things anything else wouldn't have much effect.
I gues I can't add anything.. Arch summed it up quite well. You really need to learn some music theory, or at least listen to music and study it on your own. Judging from this midi you posted, it doesn't seem like you have much understanding of music.
Anyway, keep trying. It usually takes time to learn how to write music..
Well... it reminds me of my first tunes I made... I suggest you to first try to make some simpler melodies (like Ukko Nooa etc. ;)) and so on. It took me a more than couple of years to learn how to write (good?) music and I still learn something new. And don't use so much instruments at first. When you have learned to write some simple melodies try adding some more instruments if they fit in your song.
Happy composing :)
Not very much of melody, but still a bit interesting.
Could pass as expressive synth or elaborative rock or something
I liked the DANG DANG type sounds.
What did you use to make that midi?
Ukko Nooa RULES! I used anvil... ;D
Where to get it?
Anvil is very good program...
