Not for my game, but I thought I would show it to you guys anyway.
Man, what a week! This is about the only thing I've gotten made this whole week! It's amazing how busy you can be even though you are unemployed! But I'll stop yabbering and just show you the pic...

Incredible, Xadhoom!  :o  Your attention to detail is beautiful, and I really like the framing effect by the parts of tree on the left and right of the picture.

Unemployment is a bitch ant it? Get to sit around drawing art that could be sold for mega amounts of money and get to do what you want when you want... Man I was I was unemployed ;P. Keep it up and best of luck on finding a job (even be it unemployed)...

Xadhoom

Heheh, well, it ain't really the fact that I can sit around doing what I want and get out of bed at noon that's bothering me...it's more the echo valleys that seem to have formed within my pockets...

Title loan? You dont need to go much of anywhere anyway... :p

OneThinkingGal and ._.

Very nice, like all your work. :)

The figure would have to be my favorite bit of the piece, nice little touches.

It would help if you posted a smaller pic since its difficult to see the town from that vantage point that you are aiming for, if one has to scroll horizontally.

Neole

It looks good, but the varying line widths make it appear a bit sketchy. Like the mountains on the left should be inked the same line width as the mountains on the right. And the forest could be inked a lot thinner since they are far away. Anything far away usually does not have the same contrast as the foreground objects. You could add a few clouds to the sky to fill it up. The ship is a really nice touch. The figure is very well drawn.

Czar

Do you do comics?  :o
Roses are #FF0000
Violets are #0000FF
All my base
are belong to you

Andail

Really nice...
It seems like you used a photo-reference, but I could be wrong...it doesn't matter anyway.
Good work

n3tgraph

Evil: Lol! :D
OneThinkingGal and ._. Yeah, sorry 'bout that. I'll try to post some smaller pics next time. :)
Neole: Yeah, it is a bit sketchy...but that was the idea, too. :) As for the lineweights of the mountains, I tried to make it look like the mountains on the right and in the middle was further away, but it didn't work I guess. And yeah, for the contrast issue, you're not the only one that has said that. I'll have to work on that. The sky is supposed to be blank...it's kinda a trademark of the previous artist on this project, and an attempt to keep in style a bit. Thanks for the great crits. :)
Czar: Nope. I'd really like to, but I just don't have the time at the moment.
Andail: Heh, thanks for the compliment, but no, I didn't use any photo ref for this at all actually. But I will on the next landscape I do...especially for the mountains and distance haze.
N3TGraph: I'd love to, man, I'd love to...
SLaMgRInDeR: Heh, thanks. :)

this reminds me a lot of the illustrations in the "choose your own adventure" books i used to read when i was younger. i love it !

edit- some nitpicking: the wind seems to blow towards the left in the foreground (character's hair), but the smoke above the town is going to the right :)
did i mention i love your work ?

n3tgraph

I like the big pictures! :)

No, but seriously, Your talent can be used for a lot of games.
You draw just like Metzen ;)

Plasticman: ...well...it's a long way down there...maybe there's some fluctuation in the air flow...heheh. ;)
N3TGraph & SLaMgRInDeR: I would, if I lived in the States. Which I don't...which means that the nearest Blizzard facility is thousands of miles away...and I don't really think I'm up to par on either Metzen or Samwise just yet. Thanks for the compliment, though. Much appreciated.
