Title: James Stone *front view*
Post by: Jimi on Sun 27/07/2003 21:08:33
This is a character I've been working on for a game. He's a detective. I've got a little walking animation, but the colours got a bit screwed up, andsomething keeps happening that makes it wobble.

I've done a front view

i shouldn't really comment coz i'm the worst sprite maker in the world and feel free to trash anything i post  lol...but it is C+C , the feet seem to far back and gives the impression the feet are round the wrong way...otherwise the character looks great jimi :D

It looks like a kid in his father's coat. You could make the coat move a bit more around the legs to avoid giving the impression that the person that's under it is not moving right or is somehow short legged.

My first impression, based on the way he scuttles along, was that the character was an insect trying to disguise itself as a human

I admit I rushed the animation.

Neole: It's for a different game.

Jimmy, I've told you this twice, but the gap in the foot doesn't look right IMO. Also, I'd change the color of his shirt from red to white, and the white bit to skin color. But whatever.

Actually, the grey under his coat is a collar of a shirt, and the red is a tie.

The front view doesnt look the same person as the side view. I think the face shud be longer and the eyes set closer.
