G.I.Joe Pixel Art

I'm not working on a game for G.I.Joe (though I have been thinking about it) right now. But I was talking on the phone and I started doodling characters in Photoshop and this is the result. I know they're blocky, but I like it.

What do you all think?

So ... even though I'm not making a game outta this stuff, I decided to do some of the Joes.

I'm thinking of maybe making cartoons outta these w/ Flash. That could be cool I guess.

It looks like Duke has an extremely phat penish

the crotches are a bit odd,

Do these look better? I also lowered Snake Eyes' belt so they weren't all exactly the same height/proportions.

You didn't change Flint's...area.

If you DON'T make a game you should at least make animations for all of these and release them as a sprite pack or something. I will host them!

I think they look great. The blocky style rocks.

I SOOO loved the Crimson Twins and Crimson guards. You should do Destro and the Baroness. Oh, and doesn't one of the twins have a scar...you should try to add that if you can. Xamot was the one with the scar? Is that right.

I fixed Flint's crotch and changed Duke's suspenders.

Junc - I'm planning on making some animations. I'm also working on Destro, the Baroness, Major Blood, and Cobra Commander right now.

[EDIT] - Do any of you know any links to G.I.Joe sites with good art of the characters? I am doing all of these from memory so they're prolly pretty inaccurate. All my old comics and toys are in my parent's attic down in Florida. I searched Google but didn't really find anything worth while.[/EDIT]

They have a definate different style than mine. They remind me of the Yoda Stories style (which just rocks!)

I'll get working on something new ...

No, I didn't make them...I wish. That NoJoy guy just makes all of the most kick butt things from my childhood. He did a great smurf set in the same RPG style. I always meant to do something with those and the GI Joe ones...

I love the red carpet shot! Keep em comin', this is great stuff. Personally I like your versions more than the NoJoy ones. I think you could make a killer adventure game with them.
