Title: New LOTLL Concept art.

Ok as promised:

Its rough and the shrub on the right will be replaced by a path of some sort, just wanted to get an idea for lighting, as i do with all concept art. Let me know what you think, but dont go mad on it as i said its not the final work, just a rough copy.  :)

Indeed, the contrast can be increased.
Other than that, it's kickass, as ever.

I dunno. it may seem dark cause its so small.

Will your characters colors change because of this being an outdoor/night shot? Thats extra work. But you don't have to. If you do bump up the brightness a bit, then you may not have to, but sometimes a very light character on this kind of a bg, could look silly.

This is a pretty good set up of a scene. Nice job. Can't wait to see more.

The sky is OK kinda.. just the bottom part is really dark.. too dark..

thanks for the crit guys, i know the bottom is dark, i just used black shapes and added highlights. The main piece is the pond, so i just wanted to angle it so that the pond was at 1 end and the house at the other.

The 1st act will take place almost completely at night, so im thinking of animating the character as normal then just repeating the frames with altered lighting.
