You need to line up your sprites with each other, because right now they are not the same height for front and side view. Dirty Sped's hat is not the same size in the front and side view (same with the other's hair), the glasses don't line up, the hands don't line up, the mouth doesn't line up, and one sprite is smaller than the other.

The hat  dose look off but the glasses, hands and mouth should be the same. I used the maniac mansion char sheet has a templet.

They actually don't line up.
Draw a line from the bottom of the chin from front view to the bottom of the chin in side view. Do this with the bottom and top of the glasses, shirt, belt etc.
Shouldn't be too hard to fix but it's definitely not just the hat

What's with the horrible blue skin colour?

The sprites themselves aren't that bad, except for maybe what the other people have said, but the blue is really eye-scorching!

Geez.
All those sprites are paintovers, the original sprites are from Maniac Mansion Deluxe. They don't line up, they are horribly blue, but that's what they looked like and it worked fine in the game.

Rubacant has just changed the clothing or hair, etc.
He could've mentioned that though, as obviously not everybody is familiar with that great AGS-remake of a LucasArts classic...

My game is not a remake.  Its a new Maniac Mansion game With new new story.

KhrisMUC, i'm sorry for having to post this, as it's off-topic, but the way you have talked about Rubacant is unacceptable. Since he has come back, you have not made a single positive comment about anything he has posted, paintover or not.

Sorry, Jon, but you don't know enough to judge me on this. And I've actually indeed helped him by writing a pretty long, constructive answer when he PMed me recently about two of his older backgrounds.

Fact is that he still doesn't listen properly to people nor show any sign that he has learned something.

And you just may have missed it, but my first reply in this thread was meant to defend him form undeserved criticism.
