Hola!

Hey! I heard about your project at the Fountain of Youth forum. Looking good!

I have no clue on how to program for AGS, but I can handle english pretty well, so, if you ever need help with that, let me know!

I think I could translate the text and then someone native should proofread it (Like BaptisteTheFool said) to so it could be given that... Indiana taste.

Good Luck with the project!

Looking superb Quo. Coming along in considerable portions! ;)

Sweet!

The film was shown just tonight on UK TV, so that's put me even more in the mood for it!

subspark

Haha, I just love it when that happens!  ;D

I adore the banner you made for the game, quo!  So much detail for such a small graphic.

I'am glad you like it,  :).

The image of the banner is part of an unfinished animation that I started at begining, but as part of a more advanced section of Tanis I left it to be continued when the turn of the section came.

Brilliant! This game looks extremely promising. Keep up the fancy work, Quo!
Your images are gorgeous.

Thank you  ;)

A little more details, and color base for the map and the floor (without texture work).

I've also been testing the effects of shadows trying to give volume to the scene and aging the stone blocks.

In this zoom can be apreciate the irregular shade effect on the top of the vault.

Why won't you let me help youuuuuu? :'-(

I think you've progressed to the point where posting your images in the CL is only going to slow down the development of your game.  Your latest one is more than good enough for a freeware game so my advice is to just get on with the game and only post work you really think you need help with.

These words couldn't be more true. I'm really impressed how this is coming together.

I agree! This is just beautiful and I would love to see the full game (in English). :)

It goes without saying at this point, but WOW!!!   :o

Best of luck, man.  You've produced some phenomenal stuff so far.

evenwolf

Love everything about this.   Keep in touch.

Well, I have been advancing the production of the game, but now I have started a new background necesary to continue with project.

This is an unfinished background and some elements are missing, but before continue and in order to avoid to remake parts, do you think there is something to improve or perspective errors?

Below the source images that is based the background.

You're right to ask about the perspective. The perspective is correct provided you make it clear for the viewer that everything behind the middle tent (on its right) is a hill. It wasn't a hill in the original picture but you made it a hill because you slightly modified the perspectives of the columns row, and made the right tent appear farther (though bigger) than the left tent. You've probabli been tricked by the panoramic shot from the movie.

You could achieve that "hill" effect by changing the shade of the ground, for example.

Also, of course don't forget the sahdows dropped by each tent, but I'm sure you'll add that in the final version.

To finish, the perspective of the bags on the ground at the bottom of the columms is a bit inconsistent. For example it doesn't match the perspective of the columns. It makes the whole column row look awkward. Maybe you should ask yourself why the "face" of the bags perfectly face the camera, while their side is also visible and folows a one-point perspective. It's a bit Picasso-like (you see the face AND the side at the same time).

Le Monsieur is right, but man, do I love these screenshots! :)
