Hi, I was wondering if someone could maybe help me with this background please?

I need the sky to be like one smooth layer rather than so jagged as it gets darker. If anyone could help with this I'd really appreciate it.

Paint overs are more than welcome :).

wow, thanks yeah that's exactly what I meant :D

What did you use to do this? Sorry I'm a "newb" when it comes to designing artwork lol.
