I'm experimenting with this kind of sprite style only using a few colors. Would these sprites work in a game? Is there something that could be done to improve them?

I like the messy style you have. I think the last character sprite looks a little too clean/uniform though.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I love the limited palette, those are simply perfect!!
