Title: Teaser of Larry 2 Point&Click
Post by: Rui 'Trovatore' Pires on Wed 21/05/2003 21:35:27
In fact, it's not really even a DEMO, but I couldn't help it - I need someone to tell me if it's going well! So, I call it a "teaser", it's a FINISHED teaser, and as such it CAN be in this topic!

Well, please give me some feedback once you've played it. Go here to get it -

And remember - it's only complete until you win the lottery. But fully working!

PS - RightClick, SaveAs

Downloading... You are aware though that Timosity is also working on an LSL2 remake?

WHAT????

Timosity, are you there? How can I contact you? I had no idea! I'm sorry! I even called up Al Lowe!

How can I contact Timosity? I'm far from being an internet expert, and wouldn't know a e-mail adress unless it slaps me across the face, in bold letters!

I kinda feel it would be better if you remade some graphics

cpage - I'd like it better, too. Thing is, I can't draw, and neither can I some up with a storyline or even some puzzles. All I can do is program, and as such I'm doomed to remaking stuff. Note it is called LSL2 Point and CLick, not LSL2 remake - for the people who, as I, think the parser it dreadfully inconvenient, and who don't want to get stuck because they can't "guess the verb".

So, all the criticism I'm asking for is about gameplay/interface/general feel of stuff.

I'm working on a LSL3 remake, It's ok

Edit: Cool it looks good so far, It's harder than it seems putting together someone elses work, especially when there is only 1 person doing it.

I'll race you to the finish,

nah just kidding.

Yeah with my LSL3 I'm doing it with flipped screens which just makes it opposite, but also with every animation.

I like the style of these old sierra games.

I've implemented a different inventory style for LSL3 than the original and obviously a different menu system, but the rest is pretty much the same.

But I'll implement a few changes for the original copy protection, with puzzles instead.

Good luck with the project.
