Title: The Cave Demo

Hello all you AGSers     ...loverly people they are...

I have just started making my first proper game The Cave (Will be retitled )
Its basic and the demo only portrays a basic plot-line with  minor puzzle (all up for redevelopment)
The reason I post this here is because
A) It is not good enough by a long shot for a slot in the short games part lol
B) It has not got any screenshots as they are not final backgrounds
C) I wanted to see whether the file host was worth praising or not

Any way feedback would be nice hope you all like my first 3hrs of serious Game creation

So you need beta testers? Why don't you just post in the GiP with a "Need BETA testers" thread.

I dont really need beta testing  its just to show what i have done thus far
and to test the file host etc

Just the intro and then the one room? After I did the one thing I could do, it seemed to change rooms and then nothing was working after that.  :/  So I'm stuck.  Anyway cool demo....

There was only two rooms, and this could have been done in ten minutes. Please try to expand on this. Artwork didn't seem too bad but the walkcycle looked quite odd walking sideways.

I'd recommend adding something to help detect the hotspots, because right now it's pretty user unfriendly in that regard.

Thanks for the comments so far peeps: 
Edits to demo include;
Falling shocked view
  An actual end to it

Like I say the whole thing will be rewritten and the 5 frame walkcycles will all be reworked (Character shading and accesories will be included)

Loads and loads of dialogue
Animated cursors for hotspots (maybe a hover gimmick like in Discworld)
Gui icons to be reworked
And another secret element (which is not yet confirmed depends on wether my coding gets any better)
this game is set to have approx 15 characters
hopefully if work allows me to have some proper time off it will be done in the coming year but dont hold your breath  Lol

The cursors are as follows
the eye = look                       (center of iris)
the hand = interact                (tip of hand)
the mouth = Talk                   (center pixel to point)
the X icon is a walkto cursor (mike will walk to the very center point of this)
