Title: AGS Opera - a little ditty about LGM
Post by: on Tue 10/06/2003 17:06:39
Finallly after all that, it's ready! This is a special one cos it features lots of voices from AGS users.

I forgot to include the lyrics in the zip, so I'll put them below in a spoiler.

Go and grab it now, it's just under a MB;
http://tong.bsone.net/LGM_song.zip

Thanks to EVERYONE that leant their voice. This song contains some strong language, you've been warned, kikme!

Spoiler

Hey look, its Andy!
What, who? Andy Penis?
Nooooo, It's Andrew Edmark! I can see the resemblence tho...

There was a young n00b from the US of A,
who turned up on the forums one day,
slightly overweight, rotundly under age,   (evenwolf)
Andrew Edmark became centre stage.

He made a game with a strange storyline,
then he made a gayme that went back in time,   (steven hawking)
a project about that holocaust fuss,
it was graphically shit but it got an a plus. (flippy d)

then he joined irc and became arrogant,
Andrew Edmark had a lesson to be learnt,   (custard)
he was one of those annoying n00bies,      (tamz)
unlike the others he had boobies      (robert eric)

He put naughty stuff on church web space   (n3tgraph)
then he made a site of his weird face      (eVOLVE)
it went down well in a strange sort of way   (jannar)
but everyone got the impression he was gay    (netmonkey)

I'm afraid to say he just doesn't make me pee.(rodekill)
LGM? Who the hell is he?         ([eric])
One day i'm sure he'll have it mastered   (Yakspit)
I dont care, i hate the bastard      (AGA)

he wont be around for ever and ever,      (spyros)
leave me alone!            (LGM)
well i never!               (andail)
it never takes long for him to recover   (magintz)
he even put his penis on the screen 7 server   (cj)

now there is a moral to this little thingy,   (grundislav)
LGM stop eating that twinkie!       (archangel)
a n00bie joined and he was a runt,
actually m0ds, i prefer to call him a c...    (pestilence)

Ahh, fuck off!

Ah, pooie, another fun activity I wasn't involved in because I don't happen to urk as much. If this sort of thing happened more often I'd probably show up more.

Don't worry LGM, I doubt they did. Only about 5% of them actually knew what they were saying their line for.

:P

This triumphant message marks the proudest day in my life.  I am overwhelmingly pleased to have been able to contribute to what, I think, is the greatest impact I have had on society and the world in general.  Thank you m0ds for this opportunity and I am delighted beyond further words.  Except, that is, to say I'm downloading it now and haven't actually listened to it yet.  However, I'm sure it's quite good.

I got no rhythm.  But atleast I got to say the coolest word ever: "rotundly"

I am of the opinion that a Flash animation should be made to this song.

I was slowly working on a music video for this one, to be honest. I'm afraid it wont be flash but it'll still feature weird stuff ;)

But yeah, flash could work too :D

That's ok, I wasn't planning on making a video. That would involve listening to the song over and over and over again, and staring at pictures of LGM for hours. Right now I don't *officially* have no life. Making an LGM animutation might upset that delicate balance.

Here is the list of my AGS related songs if you're missing any mods, most are by you though:

www.esseb.com/div/AGS%20Songs.txt (http://www.esseb.com/div/AGS%20Songs.txt)

"The Beautiful One and Me" by Goldmund probably shouldn't be in that folder, but I liked it.

48 pieces, including a beautiful rendition of "Con Te Partiro" by Grundislav filmed with his webcam.

Edit: I updated the collection with proper names for the songs and the authors based on AGA's collection. The #Unsorted folder has songs where I'm not sure of the title or author(s).
