saving games

Hi, i downloaded winrar and can now download all my favourite games but the last few ive played i save them but when i go to load them again theyre gone, can anyone help its so frustrating thanks

Hi there Tina,

The only thing that comes to my mind here is that you may not be extracting the file in order to play them.

If you haven't extracted the file, I don't think the save game function will add the save game to the archive, meaning the game will not be able to find your save game.

If you're definitely extracting the files, then perhaps someone else can help here.

Did you extract the games to folders first?

I'm not sure how you played the games, but if you opened the games directly inside the archives (if the games run at all) you may not be able to save your games properly. So, you need to extract the games into folders.

Also, what is your system? I'm not sure (as I never seen Vista and probably will never use it), but if you are using Windows Vista you may have some problems saving game progress (I think the solution is along the line of putting the games in My Document but I'm not sure, you may search for revelant information in the two technical forums if you want).

Hi thanks for replying guys it done the trick, i wasnt extracting them properly its all working now
