Jasco is a really cool UK band. Almost Jamiroquai-sounding, but in combination with their singer they have a really unique sound. Their bassist is also really good -- that's how I learned about the band.
You can listen to some of their live recordings (at the bottom of the page) here:

Their singer plays flute and sax too.

They're playing at the Bluejay Lounge (http://www.bluejaylounge.co.uk/bluejay.html) on March 4th, so you UKers should definitely check it out. Here's information about the concert, directions, etc: http://www.munkio.com/music/jasco/happenings/home.html
Pretty interesting sound ...
I like the 'local' band scene. I used to go see the Killer Flamingos (http://www.killerflamingos.com/) twice a week. That was when I lived in Michigan.
If I were going to be in the UK around March 4th I'd come see Jasco ... alas, that would be a long commute for me. Maybe if I take my segway ...
I just had a listen. They have a really cool sound. It sortof a Jazzy funk sort of style. Very cool. Pity they are too fr away from here to see them.
Man... I gotta bump this topic. I just love their music... I have my songs on the computer on shuffle, and it's really cool when those Jasco songs come on. They have a great energy to them, and the singer has an awesome british accent. I'm thinking of buying that EP on there now.
No kidding! Their songs sound like Jamiroquai, which is why I really like it.

Huh!?! I wants it!
*listens to samples*
Okay, I can see that, a little. Still quite funkyish.
