Oneway

Somehow i really doubt that you really are a company. Companies don't usually ask for volunteers with a promise of a remotely possible paycheck. If companies don't have skills inhouse to produce, nor the capital to buy those skills, they go to the bank for a loan, or find investors to finance the purchase of labour and skills.

Judging by the list of openings you have, i'd say all you have right is a game in concept. Storyline, puzzles and character descriptions. And to make your game you need almost a complete team.
At this point in production, a website is the very least of your trouble. Finding people to work for you and getting production going is much more important right now.
A website is worth nothing if you have nothing to show for it but a vague and distant release dates and a couple of background sketches.

And lastly, i took quite some offence to your repeated (implicid and explicit) references to people getting paid in the future. (employees, getting paid, hire).  If you're a company you pay your employees. period. Where you get the funds from is not concern of employees.
If you can't pay them, don't call yourself a company and call people on the team staff, volunteers or teammembers.

It's not my intention to critisize your game, your abilities or your person. All i am critisizing is the presentation you made, as it is mostly based on willingness to believe.

Good luck with your project(s), i really hope to enjoy your next production.
Almost intentionally left blank.

You're mostly right, Oneway, but- and that's an important but- at least Dashe can show a game. Even one that isn't too bad IMO. How many people did we have whose first post was on the same lines as Dashes', but without anything solid behind it?  I'd say his post is at least reasonable and mostly justified.

I'd also like to know what's in the gift basket.

Pamela, I didn't tell you to put up a wanted ad. I told you to plan for an ad. Didn't you read the chart I gave you? Delete this thing.
