According to some magazine over here in icy Aachen, Ubi Soft is in the pre-beta stages of Beyond Good And Evil 2 (http://www.golem.de/0805/60054.html)! I don't mind telling you that the original game, together with its cliffhanger ending and smooth, superp, variant gameplay, more than deserves a sequel.
So, what do ye think, lads and lasses? Sharin' this Ghost's enthusiasm?
It was one of the best games I've ever played. I still don't get it what it was, but something just made me feel the giantic awesomness of this game whenever I've played it.
Then, on the other hand, We've seen many unsuccesful sequels lately. I just hope, Ancel doesn't mess it up with this one. Because it would be a bigger shame.
The first was heavily underrated. Hopefully this will instill a bigger fan base, and come out just as good as the first.

Hopefully they'll actually spend money advertising this game. I haven't really noticed the first game until I saw all the fuzz about this teaser. I remember looking at the cover of the first game some years ago and thinking "meh". It was probably a really good game, but since there were absolutely no fuzz about it back then, I hadn't really heard about it and the concept was really weirdly told on the back of the cover so it didn't really appeal to me...
But the setting of this teaser already makes me want to try it out!
BGandE was an amazing example of how a game should be.
I wouldn't say it was underrated, just overlooked... much like Skies of Arcadia.
I would gladly buy the sequel... (actually I haven't even completed the first yet, but don't tell anyone).

I really loved and finished the first one.
Exploring, arcade, plot, music, visuals, all very good and entertaining.
I love the first one. I have mixed feelings about the sequel. I will hold my enthusiasm until I see the finished game.
I'm still trying to play the first one. The 3rd cd tries to achieve suicide after 1 hour of installation. :'(
So I'm praising Marx for a sequel.

Anyway, looking forward to this game, even though we're probably still two years away from it.

Oh my word that was a good game, I didn't play too far into it because of stuff with my computer breaking down and throwin' off ma' riddim. I'd just figured out the puzzle with the gas-tank guards too.
As I remember, it had good good voice-acting too. Although I wish there'd been an option to listen to it in the original French. I BET Jade had a sexy voice in French.
Excited but also a little concerned. The first one wasn't perfect but still managed to be a fantastic experience and is one of very few games that I've 100%ed (at least twice). If the sequel can keep the charm and gameplay of the first one while expanding on the story and universe it's going to be a great game. Can't say I like Pey'j's new voice though...

I saw it in the shop a coupla weeks ago, although I didn't buy it because I didn't see the appeal in a girl with a camera.
I trust all you guys, and I know it's probably a great game, but what makes it so?

I found the original to be rather boring overall after the hype-machine got done with it, so I'm not particularly excited about this news.
