bueno, soy Argentino, y estoy estudiando ingles desde hace 9 aÃ±os, ... un amigo me impulsÃ² al internet, con la idea de que lea foros para ir yendo un poco mas rapido con el idioma ... y aca estoy !.( "Puss in Boots" Pires , yes, i agree with you ... portuguesse and spanish are not that different !!!).

EDIT: (sorry for not posting the english version when i posted this first) Well, i`m argentinian, and i am learning english since nine (9) years ago, .... a friend pushed me into internet, with the idea to make me read forums to go a bit faster with this language ... so here i am!.

This is the topic that began the discussion on the creation of clans. This was not the intention. Only initiate to know all the in this forum that it is international they speak or understand Spanish, and Farlander gave an excellent suggestion (postear quite in both languages for the enjoyment of all) I saw It rather as an opportunity about whom it does not know well one of two languages it might extract advantage of having the same thing in both languages. And maybe to improve a bit his language.

And it is clear that the official language of this forum is English.

I believe that it is a stupidity creating clans is already for region, sex, language, or what is, this forum is for enjoyment of all and to help in what could to other users of the program of AGS in order that they complete his games. And this way to enjoy all and to improve.

Excuse if badly I interpret. It will treat of that it does not repeat itself.

Yo hace unos aÃ±os que paseo por aquÃ, pero debido a tener poco tiempo aun no he podido hacer ni una demo completa, ni echarle mas de 2 meses de esfuerzo a un mismo trabajo.

Sobre lo que habÃ©is comentado de que los espaÃ±oles lo traducimos todo al espaÃ±ol y no escribimos directamente al ingles si no que traducimos y todo eso... es muy cierto, pero es mentira que traducimos losnombres de los grupos de musica Â¬Â¬U XD Madre mia... las Spice Girls... xDDD en cualquier caso serian "chicas picantes" xD Bueno, a lo que iba. La esencial razÃ³n por la que la inmensidad de la poblaciÃ³n espaÃ±ola no sepa Ingles, o al menos escribir en ingles, en gran medida por lo estupidamente patriotas que son muchos espaÃ±oles, que viene de la tradiciÃ³n fascista/franquista. Como todos los regimenes fascistas europeos, las peliculas no podian ser traidas tal cual y substituladas, si no que debÃan de ser dobladas.

Y las escuelas son tremendamente patriotas, y 2 horas de ingles a la semana y mucho fracaso escolar no arreglan nada para que la gente se internacionalice. Ademas, en algunas regiones, como la mia (catalunya) y el pais vasco, y valencia, se enseÃ±an los idiomas regionales (catalÃ¡n, valenciano, vasco...) AsÃ que ya son aun mas idiomas por apreder xD

Bueno, me presento. tengo 21 aÃ±os, y soy estudiante de filosofia, ademÃ¡s de administrador del portal de RPGMAKER espaÃ±ol Hellsoft.net. (que esta hecho una pena ultimamente). Estoy intenteando hacer una aventurilla con graficos que pretenden ser potables, de ciencia ficciÃ³n semihumoristica, un poco estilo Space Quest.

i'm from venezuela, and yeah i think we should respect the forum rules, i already failed when i wrote in spanish in another thread but anyway i wont do it anymore...what i wanted to know is if there's any translation of AGS to spanish?

so more people get interested on it.
and also, if there's no translation, Â¿who is interested? i already started translating the basic commands, to create somthing like a guide/faq in spanish.
If someone want's to help feel free to add my msn address and let's chat about it...thanks.

Hola a todos, soy nuevo en el foro. Soy de EspaÃ±a y soy traductor eventual de aventuras grÃ¡ficas.
He participado en las traducciones de 'The Pandora Directive' (terminada y con beta a punto de salir) y 'Simon The Sorcerer 3D' (terminando, queda poco).
Me ofrezco para traducir gratuitamente alguna aventura hecha con AGS de las que hay por aquÃ. AdemÃ¡s de esto me surge una pregunta: Â¿es posible traducir juegos ya terminados y publicados, o es necesario que el autor proporcione la fuente de los textos?
Bueno pues esa es mi propuesta. Como nunca he traducido ninguna aventura AGS necesitarÃa unas pequeÃ±as aclaraciones, por ejemplo si hay que hacerlo con el editor de AGS o si los archivos de diÃ¡logos son texto plano y se pueden editar con cualquier programa.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm from Spain and I'm casual translator adventure games.
I have participated in the translations of 'The Pandora Directive' (complete, beta shortly) and 'Simon the Sorcerer 3D' (ending).
I offer my services, free, to translate some adventure made with AGS that there are around here. In addition to this surge me a question: Is it possible to translate games already completed and published, or it is necessary that the author provide the source of texts?
Well that's my proposal. As I have never translated any adventure AGS would need a small clarification, for example if there is to do with the editor of AGS or if files are plain text and dialogues can be edited with any program.

Cireja; in order to translate a game, its author needs to export all the dialogues in the game editor, into a text document. This document will have marks and tags to let the editor import the text again, and put all messages in the right places.
Naturally, you will need the consent and cooperation of the game author to do this.

Also, note that this is not the place to introduce yourself and your services; instead of digging up ancient threads you should post in the stickies in the AGS chat forum.

Uppsss, I'm very sorry, I'm new here and I have little experience. I thought that as in this thread was talking about Spanish, might be the right place. I'll do what you tell me and I will present in another forum.
