This thread is just for me to now your opinion on the band "Simply Red". All my friends mock me because I like their musics. Only 2 friends of mine like Simply Red too! What the hell is wrong with their style of music? Do you like their musics?

Well, I thought Simply Red was a low-calorie breakfast cereal, so, maybe your friends also do.
Yeah, they are not among my very favourites but I do enjoy listening to them once in a while. I even went to their show a few months ago and enjoyed it immensely.
I found a Simply Red compilation album in the trash a few days ago, and after reading this thread and therefore giving it a quick listen, I rather feel like returning it. No, it's not awful, in the same way that Stevie Wonder isn't terrible, but that still doesn't mean I would listen to his music if I had a choice.
Let's put it like this. Mick Hucknall was one of many later famous Manchester musicians attending the now legendary 1976 Sex Pistols gig. The others went on to form influential post-punk and new wave bands like The Smiths, Joy Division, Buzzcocks, Magazine and The Fall, Hucknall ended up in Simply friggin Red... what went wrong?
Hucknall gets a lot of stick for being ginger, but he's a great lyricist.
I'm not a big fan of simply Red as a band, but their Album Blue is among my favourite albums.
If you're a fan of them Big Nerd, you should check out the Classic Album video/dvd for Blue. It's extremely insightful.

I find their music irritating, largely I may add! Plus I find his voice awful (not to my taste), and their videos bad, their appearance bad.
somehow this kind of music does not appeal to me the least. Ad not Steve Wonder appeals to me...

For some reason I'm getting a memory of some long-forgotten British satire show... possibly Spitting Image... I dunno. But I just remembered the voice clip, "I'mmmm Miiick Huuuucknaaaaaalll"....said in a telephone pervert voice.
I saw them live a few years ago ... They were ok I suppose. Not really my cup of tea though.

I am not a big fan, but i do like a few songs. The lead singer does have a great voice though.
Even though I like Simly Red a lot I found those videos very amusingÃ, ;D Speccialy the "holding" one.

Simply Red, despite being total earache IMO, is still very popular band so even asking sounds stupid. Like, you might aswell ask if anyone likes N'Sync or the Prodigy or something.
I think that only purpose of "music" like SR makes, is for elderly to have something playing while they attempt intercourse... eck.
