Title: Does Paint shop pro has an offset function?
Post by: Buckethead on Sat 02/12/2006 09:05:49
hey,

I've been creating textures for various games lately. It all goes pretty well but the problems come when I lay my textures in a sqaure of four. They don't tile. Lots of people on msn say I need to use the offset function in photoshop. But I don't have PS on this pc and I don't like to use it anyway. I prefere to use to Paintshop pro. So I was wondering if there is an offset function in PSP also. I use paintshop pro 7 btw, if that matters.

thnx in advance!

there's a "create seamless pattern" function under "Selections", you just have to make the texture a little bigger than you need it (like 300x300 for what will be a 256x256 texture), select an area the size you actually do want it and then use that function.
