Title: DPaint IV and NeoPaint Pros Wanted!
Post by: Swegi on Mon 06/12/2004 18:46:28
hi i had some questions abot this two software;

DPaint IV
1.if i save a pic in DPaint, under the bars (top, bottom, right side) stays white. how can i solve this prob.?
2.the gradient fill works only horizontal.what can i do if i want something fill out bottom up?

NeoPaint
1.i already told in an another topic, that something is wrong with the gradient fill.(or just im too stupid to understand how it works ;): sometimes i have to click four times till it does anything, and it happens often that the whole screen filled out instead of the area i clicked on. strange...  maybe programm error ???
2 how can i mix colors? (pic attribute; 320x200x256) ther are on the palette 256 colors but what is if want to work with a special one (eg. R48 G48 B176). how can i find or mix it out?

is it possible to use paintshop pro in 256 color mode?

erm, how are you running DPaint IV? in an emulator or on an actual amiga?
as far as i no, there are no modern paint apps that can work with 256 or less colours properly, also in DPaint IV i think there are options windows you can turn on for gradient fills (oh how i miss the shape gradient fill)...

Seriously, dude.  I didn't have to dig too deep to find this.  He asked honest questions.
