As some of you may know I spent all of last week in Las Vegas.Ã, Upon my return I found my new young apprentice in my home ...

I shall train him well.Ã, (Sara suprised me with a new kitten in case you don't understand my humor)
Also, thought this might be of some interest, I saw this while at SEMA in Vegas ...
(SEMA = Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association and every year they have a HUGE convention in Las Vegas ... kind of like the Autoshow or E3 if you know what those are)
I ran over to see who was there ... CJ?Ã, Alas, it was a booth for wiring harnesses or some such thing.Ã, Oh well ...
Then I met this man (some of you may know him):
I thought he was bigger ... I rather towered over him.Ã, I guess the TV camera does make you look bigger?
While in Las Vegas one must gamble right?Ã, So I decided to play a little black jack ...

DISCLAIMER: This is actually a photo of my playing black jack with a wax sculpture of Mr. Affleck at Maddam Toussad's wax museum ... man was the place CREEPY!!
While walking out of the convention I stepped out of this guy's way ... then I realized who it was and took a picture.Ã, I didn't get the pleasure of speaking to him, but oh well.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share some of my week-gone-by with the fine folks of the AGS community!
I hope you have enjoyed it.
Now I must go.Ã, My new, young, evil, sith kitty apprentice is eating my shoes ...
Oh my God, that cat has the most gorgeous eyes!
Very nice Kitty. And for the pics, it looked like a lot of fun.
Kitttiee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want! It's so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!
I love cats, i have one of my own. I have had him for 11 years now.
These are great pics!!
The American Chopper dude doesn't look to happy, and what is he holding in his left hand.Ã, Good thing it wasn't a knife.Ã, :)
Shawn
I've always loved cats.. they don't take any BS, so I can relate with them more than dogs.
What did you and Paul Sr. talk about? I'd love to get the chance to meet that guy.
Aww..that is a cute kitty... ::) . I have something to mention about that "AGS" sign....I believe it is for a store. Traveling, perhaps. You see it on the left side.
I know it's a perfectly humane thing to do, but I could never bring myself to pick my kitten up by the scruff of his neck. It just looks like it would hurt them (even though it obviously doesn't).
Shbaz and Dark - it's a funny story because when I first saw him I jokingly said to my brother, "Hey is that Tuttle?" because I really didn't think it was him.Ã, He's MUCH smaller than I thought.Ã, Robb said, "yes it is!" so I went over and said, "Do you mind if I talk to you?"Ã, He was a little hesitant but was cool.Ã, I think he was 'acting' like on the show.Ã, I asked if he minded taking a picture and he was like 'Sure.'.Ã, He wasn't really friendly, but I didn't expect him to be.Ã, I asked if they were exhibiting and he said 'no, just looking'.Ã, That was pretty much it.Ã, I shook his hand and walked off.
AGA - That little rascal is full of so much piss and vinegar that I found out the only way to calm him down is to 'mother' him. Grab his scruff like that and he just curls his back legs (and tail) in and chills. It's the cutest darn thing I've seen in a while!

I was actually under the impression that people shouldn't do it to kittens, because only cats do it properly.
Not that I'm trying to say you're mishandling your cat Darth, that's just what I thought was the case.
I dunno really. My aunt, who's bred all kinds of animals, cats, dogs, mice, you name it, has always done it that way. Our kitten came from a litter her cat birthed. Maybe it does do some kind of damage, but the cats certainly don't mind it being done to them...
Name the cat Pib! 50 points if you name the cat Pib!
Sorry, the word "Apprentice" in your post got me excited.
That are lovely pics of your new kitten, indeed! I must say that this way of catching cats is perfectly admisible, as their mothers do it in that way, and kittens have this part of the skin perfectly adapted (As a curiosity, catching them in that way causes a neural effect that lastes all its life, so, if you want to calm an adult cat, catch it in that way).
P.S. Is that yellow wristband Lance Armstrong's livestrong? 20,000,000 of wristbands so far! Yuhuuuuu!

That's exactly what it is!Ã, I knew you would spot that ;)

I named my dog after an adventure game character as well. Mainly because I liked the name Stellar, but it was initially because of the chick from Space Quest 6.
Naming pets after space terms that also happen to be adventure character names? What's the deal with that!
Edit: I forgot to mention, adorable!!
Dude, you should have tottally made out with that Wax Ben Afleck....

Are you sure that was a blackjack table? It looks more like a Texas Hold 'em Poker table.

I'm not sure what kind of table it was ... but I
was playing black jack on it. :)
It was just for show ... no money involved.
I tricked Sara into thinking I had actually played black jack with Ben Affleck.Ã, I told her that I had just sat down at the tables with him.Ã, She thought it was sooooo cool.Ã, She asked what he was like to which I replied, "He's quieter than you'd think ... didn't have much to say"
She couldn't tell from the pix that it wasn't really him. She totally fell for it.
Does she have particularly poor eyesight? "Mr Affleck" in your pictures has a strangely orange shade of skin.
...are you saying Darth's eyes can REALLY be that shade of red? My God!
Anyway, I also think it's not life-like, but for another reason. It's a perfect statue, but it still looks like a statue, in its posture. It doesn't look like it's ever going to move, unlike a person in a photo - it looks like it's going to be there, smiling and looking at the very same place until the end of the world, amen.
Wow. you see so much more if you look closely!
