Title: Free website hosting - Any good sites you can suggest?
Post by: Snake on Mon 21/04/2008 23:26:20
Hey,

I've been using geocities for my site for the longest time. I've forgotten my password and for some reason PageBuilder won't work with Opera or Internet explorer (IE - it has worked before, but won't now...for whatever reason).

I'd like to start a new site and actually keep it updated this time.

So after googling for like 2 hours now, I can't find anything I like. I've signed up for Freewebs but it doesn't seem to be as customizable as yahoo. I also tried 110mb.com - which sounded very promising - but I didn't understand a damn thing. I guess they didn't have a site builder thing...

So, can anyone suggest any site hosts that have a thing such as PageBuilder (like Yahoo) and is easy to create a page from scratch? Somewhere I can upload photos of my games?
I'd like to create a site very similar to the one that I have already created.

Thank you,

I think a lot of members on the forums offer free hosting. I do too - just PM me and ask. :)

I don't need much at all, thanks. I think I'll just stick with freewebs for the time being. It serves it's perpose anyway, all I need it for is to have a place for people to keep updated on the progress of my games.

I'll see how this goes, since nobody will ever go there anyway ;)

Thanks for the offers, guys!
