Most of those models look shit  := If you want generic characters in your AGS project that randomly star in budget fps and rpg clones, then your links would be brilliant! Saying that, the cubix image looks very BGaE, which is ace!

Anyway, welcome to the forums. Where creativity is praised and pre-made media is not!

Is it just me or does that man/rex look like some form of centaur?

The sites you've posted seem to have pretty nice stuff on them. And prices seem reasonable aswell. If you are looking for this sort of stuff they are quite nice. But it's so much better not to limit yourself and make your own things instead.

You'd be surprised how many big budget games rely on some form of pre-made content theses days. It's fairly easy to spot characters and such, and it's true that most larger studios wouldn't be caught dead using them, but real world objects - such as vehicles and weapons - can be harder to differentiate.

The biggest cheat, though, has to be mo-cap. I've seen characters utilize the exact same stock motions in everything from western FPS games to J-RPGs. And not just in those games published by City Interactive and D3.

I certainly don't have a problem with pre-made content, as long as it's utilized well. Having said that, there's a lot of bad pre-made stuff out there.
