It's not discouraging his behaviour. He sees it as "Hey, look, I PM some childish stuff to someone, and everyone starts talking about me again... How can I PM skyfire when he's stopped me from sending PMs to him? All PM communication between us is one-way, from him to me. So, I'm sending him a message this way. I know I'm doing it publicly, but how else can I tell him to piss off and leave me alone?

I mean, if someone wants to send a PM to tell me I'm a dickhead no worries. Just don't expect me to be friendly when you're hassling me while hiding behind a name block. I should have every right to tell someone to leave me alone and stop sending me retarded PMs.

You do have that right, and that's why by your own advice you take the matter directly to CJ if you can't resolve it otherwise.

Edit: I should also mention this isn't the first time he's been a pain in the arse to me through PMs. This is my fifth PM from him where he's been a disphit. Seriously, it's clogging up my inbox and I can't get any more of those great herbal viagra offers.

Skyfire did the same to me, luckily I can to unblock myself and told him there was no need to be trying to cause a fight, and for some reason he accepted that. I guess if he's doing it to other people it's probably time to ban him. I do think you could have all just blocked his pms yourself if they became annoying, but at this point I don't think there's any reason to allow him to continue to use the forums. I'm banning him and locking this thread, both are undoable operations if the other moderators disagree.

He's the kind of kid that will continue this on email, or msn, or whatever, it's a funny joke to him... so if you're genuinely annoyed by him you'll block any other contact.
