Is it lame that I've just started my own blog?

Even though absolutely no one demanded it...
Even though it's been five years since the whole blog thing caught on...
Even though I have less free time today than at any previous point in my life...

I've started my own blog!

Yep, it's true.

Right now you're thinking, "Dear God, what could he possibly have to say about anything that ANYONE would want to read?"

Good question. I don't know.

But here's what I plan to write about...

- The frustrations and occasional minor triumphs of writing a novel
- The frustrations and occasional minor triumphs of designing a computer game
- The frustrations and occasional minor triumphs of raising a son

Also: Sports, TV, movies, music, books, politics, and whatever else comes up....

Just head on over to http://www.chapter11studios.com and prepare to be...

...incredibly...
...ridiculously...
...SERIOUSLY...
...underwhelmed.  ;D

Thanks,
Josh

Trust me, your blog will be better off the less time you have to update it.  Think of all of the blogs out there run by people who are so bored that blogging becomes their entertainment.  How many times have you read some halfwit's dinner plans or stared slack-jawed at photos of a cat-scratched ankle posted by someone who had no greater excitement all day than a run-in with an overexcited kitten?

Being busy gives you something to write about, which is what 99.999999% of all blogs are missing.  Good luck, I hope it turns out well.

No, but it might be lame to carefully prepare a post with such an emo title and post it across every adventure forum. Not that you'd do that, though. :P

Not every forum, just the good ones. ;)

90% of all blogs are utter crap, but then again 90% of everything is utter crap

Ghost

Why not have a blog? As long as you don't let it become an obsession and start talking about your bad feet (should you have them), I totally support the idea of having yet another blogger on the net. It's such a vast ocean we swim in...  ;D
