Ah, the tune never sounded better. Haruhi'd be proud.

Ghost, I keep forgetting to tell you that I love your signature. I've been meaning to tell you that for the longest time ;)

Calin, that video's pretty sweet. I agree, it must have taken forever to make that video work. Imagine all the time in testing to see if the audio is sync'd(?) with all the different things Mario is bumping and bouncing on (or Vice versa rather), not to mention the time in creating the levels themselves to match the song.

Cool shit.

Seconded. Also liked the one that said "Sometimes you walk so much in memory lane that you consider buying a house there.

Actually to tell you the truth I have no idea what game that code is for. I've always wondered every time I saw it.

I'm guessing Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis?

That's what you press on the title screen to Contra (NES) to get yourself 30 lives.

It's a pretty popular code so I wouldn't be suprised if it was used in other games (which I know none of).

\\--EDIT--\\
lol, Calin, sorry to hijack. Replies 4-7 are unrelated ;)

I am happy to see that my signature is the source of so much love. ;)
Of course, that's the main purpose of the Konami Code, which is so widly popular that even Plants vs. Zombies had a shout-out to it.

This has been said before, but incase anyone doesn't know, and as the subject of the Konami Code has arisen:
type the code in when you're on Facebook.

On topic, that video is quite clever, but I kind of got the message after the first minute and didn't bother to watch the rest.

Ok, I punched that code in while I was in Facebook and didn't notice anything happen.  Then I started scrolling and clicking and all these solar flares show up every time I scroll or click.  Odd.  lol

There is a song on the Deftones album Saturday Night Wrist called U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R,A,B,SELECT,START.

Which makes me chuckle.

*chuckles*
