I want to make a new Maniac Mansion game BIG TIME BOOT

I was Thinking of makeing a new Maniac mansion game with a new story but useing the MMD system.
All so i will be overhulling the Mansion and makeing it much Bigger to make it feel like a real mansion.
I want to add harder Puzzles and game play to. I feel that the Classic maniac mansion was to easy and short.
No speed runs on my game hehehe. Come on now I can beat classic maniac mansion in 10 to 15 mins.

Im adding new people that will live in the mansion.  And theres going to be crazy twists. Hmm About 3 odd items
and a evil sercet.

Did you beat classic Maniac mansion in 10-15 minutes on your first go through? I doubt it. Most adventure games are quite short if you know what you're doing and just rush through solving all the puzzles.

Oh, and it's bugging me so let me educate you on that front.. when almost anything ends with "ing" you take the 'e' off the word. So not "useing" but "using" and not "makeing" but "making". OK! 

(I'm telling you this because presumably you'd end up doing that in the game..)

Be sure to read the forum rules in the Games in Production board before posting about this game in there.

Also ... if I may suggest something, do NOT post about the game in production until you have some major progress.  Don't whip up two temporary screenshots and post about it.  Build the game up and have a significant portion of it done before telling everybody about it.

Because  its a new plot acting like the first maniac mansion never happend and we dont what to hurt your maniac

We aren't Adventure-Treff so I'm confused.

Also if I look at your post history it looks like there are people trying really hard to help you understand scripting on these forums.

Well if i ask for coding/scripting help  some people will popup and start calling me a newbie start makeing people  critic me.

Here is what I do: Create an object that looks exactly like your closed door an place it over the existing door.
Then you can use your key with the (new) door and switch the object (new door) off.
Then you can interact with the existing door wich is already unlocked.
