Dear BOYD:

I don't want to start a flame war... I consider you a buddy, but I want to put some points in clear... Hope you see it as constructive criticism:

a) Maybe Bluke4X4 does not really care about Ossie Davis, who knows? But if you ALLWAYS do that "I don't care about that dead celebrity" thing, you'll FINALLY find something who cares. And in that point, you'll be annoying him, because you've been repeteadly advised not to do so. And a person who voluntarilly annoys another member without a very specific reason, is, IMHO, an idiot.

b) If I post about something who dies, have for sure I'll care, so, please, in my very specific case, don't post if you have nothing nice to say.

c) I see a claim of "freedom of speech" in your "If having a different opinion to somebody else make me an idiot..." stalement. Then... where is your respect to freedom of speech when somebody posts about the death of a celebrity? It seems that you're allways there, in the first line of the queue, to start complaining. Why do you complain when you see that there are people ready to flame you when you do that? They're making use of the very same right you used to complain in first place... I don't really see the problem.

Well... as said, I've allways had fun with you in ICQ, saw you as a funny and intelligent guy. I really hope that you'll understand the previous as a constructive criticism. If you don't like, please, forget it and let's go on in the friendly way we've ever been.

well, freedom of speech has to work both ways, if somebody is entitled to say what they want then everyone else should be entitled to say what they want also and not have to make exceptions.
and i know people are ready to flame me, and it's always the same few people that do it and if i were to be honest i'd say i look forward to the predictable and juvenile comments, i have the sense not to "flame" people when they say something i disagree with but i won't resort to just telling them to shut up and/or calling them stupid because quite frankly i'm past that stage in my mental development.
now, if i've somehow indirectly offended bluke4x4 then i apologise, if i have openly offended anyone then i don't, if i was sorry i wouldn't have said it in the first place and am mature enough to know that saying sorry doesn't make a blind bit of difference.
lastly it's important that everyone understand that i am generally a very negative person right now due to reasons i do not wish to go in to, and that isn't the old "oh bad stuff is happening at home so i'm venting" excuse, because it isn't an excuse, i am venting due to stuff. so, if you want to continue flaming me then go ahead, but if you're an intelligent person then you'll just ignore me and not just try to start a flame war with me because i don't give a crap what you think of me, i know what i'm saying is my honest opinion and not me just saying something nasty or nice for the hell of it, as the old cliché goes "the truth never is nice".
anyhow, that concludes this post, i hope you read it, take notice and hopefully learn something from it.
