I tried that when my PC was new. I spoke to a complete stranger, fiddled with my thumbs, and uninstalled it.

But thanks all the same!

There is so much spam on that thing it is INSANE! I tried it, and regretted it immediately. Besides, for all the cool things you can do you need to spend real money, and that is just stupid for an online game.

One thing I can say for this newbie (TheVintageDemon)
They are a heck of a lot better speller then I was (am) ;D
You know, I don't really care, TheVintageDemon , I don't use the old age of messaging that much, though it is a good system, mostly. So why would I need a new system? I like the forum system myself, it makes (most) people think before they post. Nice talking to you and welcome to the club, and gosh golly, wally walla wingo, grow a thicker skin my good man.

Heh, exactly what I did.

TheVintageDemon:
Why did you uninstall it? I thought you'd really like it.

So did you uninstall it because some random people on a forum not about messengers didn't like it?
And why do you call US computer wreckers although it was YOU who uninstalled the prog?
(Don't bother to answer these here, they are rhetorical questions.)

Aye, Trillian is my favourite. It's just all your usual messenger programs in one....How amazingly easy can you get.  I stopped using it when Yahoo changed something to stop Trillian from accessing it. But I think they managed to win that one over.

I've seen it advertised a lot on annoying banner ads. Ã, They always use that provactive Japanese schoolgirl. Ã,

I use MSN messanger. Ã, However, the title IMVU is clever. Ã, I guess.

Anyway, yeah, I use messanger.

VintageDemon, for a demon you're very impressionable.  Aren't YOU supposed to be the one poking at us, making us do things??

Well, there are a whole lot of more worse things like Habbo (you'll buy credits and then tire of it afterwards). So IMVU is not all that bad actually.

Heh, I play that. If you want to add me my user is TheCarnival, but then again, it is a bad game that tricks (persuades) you into spending money so you can online furniture.

I tried it a couple of years ago, thought it was...sufficient, but figured "Why bother when I can just use plain ol' text?" and uninstalled it.

Two years later and they are still e-mailing me spam >_<
