Would it not be cool if there was a new board here wish could be called "AGS code scripts"?
Wish would only be for the AGS code script.
It would spare me a lot of time to find and search for a useful AGS codes and scripts then.

Uh oh... what happens when you land on the space with Grundislav's face on it? The one with the black background, not the pink. I only have the Blue Cup, Troll Deflecting Necklace and the Lock of Babar's Beard in my inventory (cards in my hand) at the moment - hopefully they'll help bail me out if it's anything awful... like when you land on Dualnames' flesh-tone space.

I too was expecting a board game. I wanted to be the race car. Instead I find out that there's no board game at all. (Which means I don't get stuck playing the thimble, I guess).
Personally, I was hoping to land on the big, yellow "Yahtzee" space. If you do that, you automatically leave the game in a spectacularly dramatic fashion (bonus points for peeing on the board before you leave). :=

I know there is a lots of AGS scripts and codes in other boards but. But it would be better if they was all together in one boards.
Like I said it was just a idea...and if I know you all....nobody likes my ideas hahahahahha so forget this then and lets move on , on something else or ....whatever. ;)
It's not a bad idea. A sticky thread on the Technical board would probably suffice. The mods could post useful bits of user-made code from other threads into it. It might become tedious to navigate after a while though.

Don't let that bother you. Designing a game, doesn't matter if it's a computer or a board game, is quite a task and definitely not a "child's play" as your friend seems to think. I'm not quite sure what age has to do with anything we do. It's all in people's heads that you can do this or that until that age and after that you're only allowed to do this other thing. BS.

Thanks Eigen. I may revive the idea in future, but I think I can do better actually.
Perhaps I should say something on topic:
I personally think we should encourage more people to share the code for their games. It's a suggestion I've made a couple of times but while no-one has really disagreed with me, nothing has really come of it, either.
It's for purely selfish reasons that I say that though. I personally haven't got to grips with AGS properly, despite following the basic tutorials, because that's just not how I learn. But if I have access to other people's code, I love to sit there, work out what it's doing and try to get a greater understanding of how the script works beyond the basics. I think that method is more suited to how I learn, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
