I'm thinking of doing a Let's Play (or 2 or 3) of some old adventure games with my friend Emilie. I can't decide which one I want to do! So I'm going to leave it to the best adventure gamers in all the land!

What should I do a Let's Play of?

Okay, that's three votes for Full Throttle (nice try Babar).

How about this: We'll do one LA game and one SIERRA game.

So throw your votes in for a Sierra title, folks, and in the next couple of weeks I'll post the videos!

Also, we're both very talented with improv and voice-acting (Emilie more-so), so would you rather we play without the voice-acting in the games and narrate ourselves, or leave in the voice acting?

You guys should do all the voices. It'll proove fun. Hell, sounds like a cool idea. What program are you going to use to record?
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Babar

For a Sierra game, do Willy Beamish.

Police Quest, because that game is just so complex and annoying, I want to see it completed and I want someone to explain it for stupid people like me...

Domino

I haven't played it yet, but how about The Dig?

bicilotti

Space quest 5, lot to laugh, lot to voice act (e.g. kiz urazgubi)

LGM

I'd prefer to do a game I've played and/or own. That eliminates Space Quest 5, Willy Beamish, and Police Quest. However, if no-one else recommends anything I'll give one of them a shot.

Domino, that's an LArts came. I'm looking for Sierra.

Wait, so you just want to replay games you've played?  Boring.  Willy Beamish was an excellent suggestion and you should listen to Babar.

voh

Seriously though, Space Quest 5 is my favourite SQ out there. DO SQ5!

I'll watch 'em :D

And I support The Dig (which I have played), mostly because it's far more unknown than Full Throttle is.
Still here.

Yeah I know, I forgot you were looking for Sierra games. Just didn't feel like editing my post.

Dualnames: Well, if I play a game I haven't played before I will spend most of the time going "uhhh.. errr.. what now?"

The idea of these videos is that my friend Emilie will be with me, and she's never touched a computer game in her life. I will be the pilot, while I let her make the decisions. It will be her commentary and mine that'll make it not boring. Make sense?

voh: There's already a really good LP of SQ5 being made. I don't want to step on any toes.

Point taken. I thought she knew adventure games, so perhaps Day of the Tentacle? Though it can be really easy. But it will be fun!

I do not suggest Dig because this thread made me wanna try this, I finished it in one run day before yesterday and can honestly say that this game simply sucks.

It's a psychedelic, humorless trip through boring and dusty alien-first-contact plot.
LucasArts really failed here.

Also, it would not be very interesting to watch, since there's 3 of total characters for 99% of the game and bland, lifeless backgrounds. Imagine this and crapload of Indy:FoA stone disk puzzles (with triple difficulty) -- that's The Dig.

(Graphics and music are awesome though)

I think I might do a blind play-through of Phantasmagoria myself before i get Emilie involved.... I'll be back later with news on that.
