Title: midi file request
Post by: dasjoe on Wed 25/02/2004 17:38:18
hi you. yes you!
can you create midi files? yes?
ok, that's fine. are you willing to make one for me?
what you get? umm, very much.. my respect  ;)

okay, i am in the need for a cool ringtone, so i thougt about a heartbeat. and since my phone accepts midi-files it would be nice if i could get my fingers on a midi-heartbeat.

haven't found anything on the net.. i suppose i'm the only one who wants his phone to sound like a heart..

anyways, the heartbeat should be at normal speed, i don't want to sound like i'm suffering some kind of .. .oO(i don't know the word in english ) 8)

it would be really really nice if anyone of you could make me that sound.
only restriction: everything in one channel or another (mute) channel which contains info on the vibrations.

thanks in advance,
a guy who lacks the knowledge how to create midi-files ;D

A heartbeat, eh? Can't you put a .wav file or something as the ringer?

geoffkhan: yeah, i *could* use a wave, but hten the phone would not vibrate when someone is calling, i can set a midi-channel to be used for the vibration.

m0ds: nice! exactly what i was looking for.

thank you!
