Could someone advice me what should I use to make my game music and where to find it? I'd appreciate any help.

Yes:
a) for midi music I would recomend Cakewalk or Cubase.
b) for ambiental/electronic music I recomend Rubber duck or Rebirth
c) for anything other I recomend Cubase again along with Reason (the best music program ever).

They are all comercial programs  >:(
If you want something cheap/free/legal, ask someone else  ;)

Amusingly, I found those two threads from this (http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?topic=8999.0) thread.

Jeskola Buzz is free and does lots of stuff.  It comes with lots of goodies like synthesizers, samplers, midi trackers, and a pattern editor, and sequencer.  And if you ever get bored with the array of machines it came with, you can go download more, because new ones are being written all the time.  also like someone mentioned, anvil studio is handy for midi.
