Several of you messaged me about my avatar kicking up a 'localhost' != 'www1.meleepta.com' certificate signing error. It would seem that my webhost is experiencing continued technical difficulties. Their hired tech support guys really screwed them over and have caused them no end of trouble. They are currently in the process of having to transfer all their data to a new server.
I'm sticking with them because I've read a lot of good things about this host (and I'd be really hard pressed to beat their free service package), but for now I'll have to take down my avatar until I figure out what's going on here.

Just email your host and tell them to update their servers to use Macs instead.
EVERYthing just runs better on a mac.
For sure this kind of thing would NEVER have happened on a mac. They're just more ... intuitive.
So you're saying that if they were using Macs then their tech support guys wouldn't have downgraded their MySQL from 5.0 to 4.1 without warning?

I have...erm...4 avatars at this point. I randomly select one via a PHP script. I'm not too worried about it, the issues...SHOULD :o be resolved soon.

Actually on that note, I would like to add some more avatars, I've just never gotten around to it.
My calender says the 25th of January is Burns Night and the 26th is Australia Day... but its from Wetherspoon (http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/) and its condescending so I wouldn't trust it. Oh, or Shrove Tuesday on the 5th of February - you could pour lemon juice over your avatar?
