Hmm. . . Guybrush's lastest thread has simply inspired me to put some of my early guitar works here for you to some C&C. So there are two parts of my old unfinished song, "Szron" (which in English means a white frost), made for my project called Arcanus Mysterii (currently on hold).
http://www.geocities.com/arcanusmysterii/ags/intro.mp3
- an introduction, it'd be played at the beginning
http://www.geocities.com/arcanusmysterii/ags/bridge.mp3
- and an acoustic bridge, played in the middle of the song
Both of them have been recorded by me, by use of friend's electric guitar and my own bass, but there're some samples (sounds of waves and the horse neighs), taken from Internet.
I'm curious whaddya think?
The waves are a tad bit loud, and end to quickly, but other than that the intro is lovely.
As for the bridge, tis a tad repetitive... And the horse neigh is quite random, but is still pretty neat.
I'd love to hear the whole song.
They're good, I'd love to hear the full thing too. When I hear the intro, I expect a slow high-pitched melody to come, but the song ends there.
Maybe we should start putting this stuff in the critic's lounge o_O I can see these threads opening up all over the place.
Thanx a lot for your comments!

You're right, but I've planned to put some vocals there, after the first repetition (4 lines of the text).

Also I've planned that. Mean a next guitar track with some soft tune in the intro's background and the main riff played after that, but I've forgotten about this song and just lost the motivation.
I have a lot of other guitar rehearsal pieces of this song (largely crap), but don't know if I ever finish it. Probably not, but who knows? ;)
Just out of curiousity; why is it that you choose not to use the designated forum for art & music c&c?
People have published songs there for ages
