Title: Pizzicato Patch Desired
Post by: rtf on Fri 19/11/2004 05:34:47
Hi.

I don't ask for much, but I really would like to have a Pizzicato String patch that I can use in Fruity Loops.  I was wondering if anyone had one that they could send to me.  Preferrable Wav or Xi.
I would use SoundFonts, but the SF player in FL is only a Demo version, so it can't be saved :P

Thanks  :)

I have a nice pizzicato string patch in Soundfont format. I have a format converter, so I'm certain I can put it into Xi format or Wavs (take your pick).

Also, what exactly are you looking for, a Pizzicato section or just solo? I have both.

Fruity Loops does have a soundfont plugin, but unless it's a registered *ahem* copy then you won't be able to save, but one thing you could do if you have a decent soundcard with nice midi sounds is create a midi out channel and set the port number to 1 so that it uses your soundcard rather than rely on Fruity LSD or the gm.dls, or if it's FLStudio then it's a simple matter of just adding a Midi Out channel and again setting the port to 1...

I'd like a Pizzicato section, please.  And I'lll take .wav
Thanks  :)

Boyd:  It's actually FL Studio, and I tried adding a MIDI Out chanmer, but it dosen't seem to work (even with correct settings)
